DAY 1

Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park + Rufiji River Boat Safari

Morning pickup from your hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam and depart by road toward Nyerere National Park that take almost 4 hours. Enjoy scenic countryside views as you travel through villages and landscapes of southern Tanzania.

Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon around 04PM you will experience a boat safari on the Rufiji River outside the park, one of Nyerere’s signature activities. From the water, spot hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birdlife.
Then 06PM Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2

Full-Day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park. Explore vast savannahs, woodlands, and riverine areas in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, and abundant birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park then continue wildlife viewing in the afternoon before heading back to your lodge in evening for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3

Transfer from Nyerere National Park to Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, check out from the lodge and begin your road transfer to Mikumi National Park. The journey offers beautiful views of rural life, open plains, and mountain scenery.
On the way to Mikumi in the afternoon you will have packed lunch.
When arrive you will relax at the lodge/camp. Dinner and overnight at will be atthe lodge/camp.

DAY 4

Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park, often compared to the Serengeti for its open grasslands. Look out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and numerous bird species, with the Uluguru Mountains forming a scenic backdrop.

Lunch will be served during the safari then Continue exploring the park in the afternoon before evening returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5

Maasai Cultural Visit + Transfer Back to Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, visit a nearby Maasai village to learn about traditional customs, lifestyle, and daily activities. This cultural experience offers insight into one of Tanzania’s most well-known communities.

Later, begin your return journey to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the late afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or airport marks the end of your safari adventure.
